was founded in 1984. The company was originally called Pacific Instruments
Australia Pty. Ltd.
The founder Mr. Peter Rigling was previously employed as a Senior Executive
with VDO Instruments, now SIEMENS VDO, one of the largest instrument
manufacturers in the world.
In the early 1990’s the
company become active in New Zealand. Since there was already a company with
the name Pacific Instruments it was decided to change our name to ANZ
Controls Pty. Ltd. This helped avoid confusion and better demonstrated our
Trans Tasman connection.
The company operates as
an importer / exporter and exclusive agent for many instrumentation,
measurement and control manufacturers for the Australian, New Zealand and
to a wider extent Asia Pacific regions. Some exclusive representations

Through the provision of
high level expertise and product innovations ANZ Controls service retail,
commercial, medical, government & defence customers through an extensive
distribution network of over 50 specialist companies plus numerous OEM’s
(Original Equipment Manufacturers).
One of the company
policies is to keep the operation dynamic and flexible in order to adapt
quickly to changing market conditions, thereby operating as efficiently as
possible. This flexibility has enabled us to produce significant export
growth in the Asia Pacific Region in recent years.
